Two Independent Living options are offered at Christwood: Apartments and Cottages.

Within our Independent Apartment area there are one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with nine different floor plans from which to choose.  Apartments are situated in four tastefully decorated courts, each apartment having its own alcove as an elegant entrance to an apartment personalized to fit your own taste.  Slated to open in 2011, 24 new Atrium Apartments will offer two different floor plans, as much as 1,400 sq.ft. and a central atrium for you and your neighbors to enjoy.

If apartment living doesn't suit you, cottage living may be just what you're looking for.  Eighteen free-standing cottages, ranging in size from 1,634 to 1,985 sq. ft., offer elegant, independent living with the same services, amenities and security as our apartment residences.  There are three spacious floor plans from which to choose—a two-bedroom, two-bath floor plan or two different three-bedroom, two and one-half bath floor plans.
