L. Stephen Holzhalb, III D. Min.

Executive Officer

The Rev'd L. Stephen Holzhalb, III, D.Min., Executive Officer, acts as the Executive Officer of Christwood since January 2004. He was rector of the Episcopal Church that founded Christwood and served as its first Board president. He was instrumental in the founding of Christ Episcopal School, a day school adjacent to Christwood's campus and St. Michael's Episcopal.

David Cook

Chief Administrator Officer

David Cook, Chief Administrator Officer and Administrator of the Skilled Nursing Unit, manages the day-to-day operations of Christwood in the capacity of an employee of Life Care Services. Mr. Cook has been a licensed nursing home administrator since 1985 and joined Life Care Services in 2004.

Ladonna Allen

HR Director

Ladonna Allen, HR Director, is responsible for equal employment opportunity compliance, staffing, workman's compensation, unemployment, compensation and benefits, HR development, training and payroll. She has served as HR Director at Christwood since November 1999. She attended Delgado Community College.

Randy Becnel

Wellness Director

Randy Becnel, Wellness Director, is responsible for managing, developing and implementing wellness programs for the Community Center at Christwood. Mr. Becnel's commitment to the health and wellness for the senior population has greatly benefited the residents of Christwood and surrounding community. Before joining Christwood, Mr. Becnel was the Wellness Director at East Jefferson Hospital Wellness Center, leading operations, program development, and several disease management programs. Mr. Becnel has a BS in Health and Human Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Rhenne Cervantes

Director of Mission Development

Rhenne Cervantes, Director of Mission Development, is responsible in identifying and implementing new mission opportunities for Christwood. Presently his main responsibilities include the development, implementation and management of “Christwood Connect” offering A La Carte and At Home services. Mr. Cervantes holds a BA degree from the University of the Philippines and a Master of Divinity from Notre Dame Seminary, New Orleans.

Carolyn A. Chassee, CFRE

Christwood Foundation Executive Director

Carolyn A. Chassee, CFRE, Christwood Support Foundation Executive Director, provides strategic leadership for the philanthropic vision of Christwood and works with stakeholders to create the culture for high performance philanthropy. Previously, Ms. Chassee served as CEO of the East Jefferson Hospital Foundation. She has a BS in Accounting from LSU and earned the CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) credential in 1998. She joined Christwood in 2014.

Elizabeth Jackson

Marketing Director

Elizabeth Jackson, Marketing Director, is responsible for the development, implementation and management of Christwood's marketing and sales department. Mrs. Jackson joined Christwood in 2013. Prior to joining Christwood, she was Manager of Sales and Marketing for Coastal Cargo Co., Inc., a stevedoring firm located in New Orleans. Mrs. Jackson attended Berry College, Institute Catholique in France and Loyola University City College in New Orleans.

Ann Menge Loomis

Director of Community Life

Ann Menge Loomis, Director of Community Life, is responsible for the development, implementation and management of programming for the Christwood community to include the Community Center at Christwood and The Atrium Art Gallery. Ms. Loomis' experience as the first Director of the St. Tammany Art Association and her commitment to seniors "Actively Aging" creates a rich environment for Community Center members and for residents living on Christwood's campus. Prior to joining Christwood in 2006, Ms. Loomis was a Real Estate Broker/Manager dedicated to senior clients.

Tami Perry, LPN

Residential Health Services Director

Tami Perry, LPN, Residential Health Services Director, manages the operations and staffing of the Assisted Living Unit and is also responsible for the development, licensure, implementation and management of Christwood's Home and Community Based Services. Ms. Perry joined Christwood in 1996.

Debra H. Pertuis, CPA

Director of Accounting

Debra H. Pertuis, CPA, Director of Accounting, is responsible for accounting, billing and financial reporting. As a Notary Public, she also performs notarial services for the residents of Christwood. Mrs. Pertuis joined Christwood in 1996. She earned a BS in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and became a CPA in 1990.

Michael Simon

Food and Beverage Director

Michael Simon, Food and Beverage Director, directs the six dining venues at Christwood as well as Christwood Caters (on and off campus catering services). Previously, Mr. Simon served as Christwood's executive chef. He joined the Christwood staff in 2001 after serving as chef for eight years in two restaurants. He graduated from Kenyon College and earned his masters degree from Warren Wilson College.
